The Macromedia Web Tools cd contains three programs:

a) Dreamweaver MX - Dreamweaver MX course books and resource CD provided.
b) Flash MX - Flash MX course books provided.
c) Fireworks MX - Free graphics program - No course provided (self-learn using the tutorials).

The serial numbers for the software are on the back of the envelope the CD comes in. It is crucial that these numbers are kept safe as the software is useless without these 'key' codes.

1. Insert the Macromedia Webtools Software into the CD drive.

2. Go to My Computer (from the Start Menu) - You should see the CD in the drive, per the screenshot below.

3. Double-click the CD Icon to open the cd and you will see the following:

4. Select the Dreamweaver MX installer icon first and double-click it to start the the installation wizard.

5. Work through the Installation wizard and enter the appropriate serial number provided on the back of the CD     envelope when prompted to do so. Be very careful to enter exactly what is written there (eg: if caps, then enter caps,     if there are hyphens, then be sure to add the hyphens. Exactly what you see typed there is  what must be entered.

6. Once the Dreamweaver MX software has been loaded, come back to the above screen and load the next     program by     repeating this process and choosing the appropriate serial number for the related installer.

7. Be sure to register all software programs with Macromedia at the soonest oppertunity.

    By Default, these Programs will be added to your Windows>Program files on your hard drive.
