Getting Started

Dreamweaver CS4 :

For starting the course, basically, you should find two CD's in your HLC welcome pack, one is the Adobe Web Standard Cs4 program software, which when loaded will require obtaining of activation code and registering online with Adobe. (Be sure to read the information provided on contacting 'Adobe' for your activation code, If you require the instructions for obtaining the code please click Here ).
(Please also be sure to keep the Activation Registration 'key' codes safe - You will not be able to use the software without these).
The other CD is the Resources CD which contains the Unit files and Home work Assignments for the course. (If you do not have the Resource CD please contact Home Learning College and they will forward one to you).
The course is divided up into Units. These range from Unit 1 through to Unit 11 for the Dreamweaver Cs4 course.
Upon completion of each Unit, please then complete the related unit homework assignment. (All unit homework assignments are found in the folder called Assignments on the Resource CD).
You may then attach the completed word document to email and forward to my email address for grading or upload to the VLC.
My contact details may be found on the Contact page of this site.
Web pages must either be published to the internet and the page address (URL) forwarded to your tutor, or the entire Unit folder (Site Root folder) saving to floppy disc or CD and forwarded to my freepost address for grading. (This applies from Unit 4 onwards as all practical work is required to be forwarded).
Do not attach web pages to email as they will not operate correctly. Further details available from the Courses Page.

Flash CS4 :
If this course has been supplied together with the Dreamweaver CS4 course, it is recommended that you start the Dreamweaver CS4 course first and work through until Unit 10, before starting this Flash course.
